I've been constantly searching for words to express my current state of mind as I wrapped up my life in Toronto these last couple of weeks & packed my bags to head overseas for the next year.
This decision has slowly been sinking in the last couple of days but the true weight of this choice may not be fully realized until much later in the game. To give this life decision it's significance I will be disconnecting as much as possible for the next month in order to plot the year ahead & focus on making my time on the road meaningful to the state of mind that I am in.
How do you wrap up your life in a place that has been home for fourteen years? Well I've realized that I may not be able to say all my goodbyes properly so instead I will just have to learn how to say hello in another language.
Thank You Toronto for being the start of this powerful journey & I couldn't ask for a better home of family, friends & colleagues to be blessed with. The key however to living a memorable life is in the pursuit of a memorable one, which is why I've decided to buy a one way ticket to those dreams.
I'm not sure where this road will take me, but I'm willing to keep walking & find out. Wishing you all the very best for the new year ahead!
