We Are Lawrence Avenue Project
We Are Lawrence Avenue tells a story of Lawrence Avenue, featuring portraits of people who live, work and play in this community. Photos were taken by young local artists, who have spent months learning about photography and exploring a vibrant neighbourhood of Scarborough, Ontario in Canada.
The project is a collaboration between City of Toronto Arts & Culture Services and Toronto-based artist, instigator and photographer, Che Kothari – with mentoring support by local artist Jalani Morgan

Heart & Hustle Collection by sid naidu photography
The Heart & Hustle Series is a collection of portraits that speaks to my purpose as an artist. It ties my love for storytelling to the passion for the art of photography. The lens of portraiture that I look from is about the re appropriate of the traditional origins of arts in order to provide a medium that will empower the communities whose stories are often left untold. This series is a dedication to the people that I have met in my life; the ones with mad heart & those who share a deep hunger to hustle for the life worth giving. Stay hustling with heart.
